At 7:30pm on February 20th, the Northwood varsity team will be playing on the 1932 rink against NSA in a special "Pink the Rink" fundraiser for breast cancer. Tommy Evangelista--a player on Northwood--and his parents have donated pink jerseys and socks for the team to wear. The Evangelistas also donated 200 pink t-shirts that we will be selling to the public at the rink for $10 each.
Is there any way that you could advertise this event to the Lake Placid sporting community--specifically the minor hockey program? If so, it would be greatly appreciated.

100% of the raised funds will go to the Jimmy Fund--the fundraising branch of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The DFCI is especially important to Tommy as it helped his grandmother recover from breast cancer. With your help on the advertising front, we could turn this game into a great experience for all and a successful fundraiser for a great cause.
