Lake Placid MHS contracts Sports Med (Dino) for our home games. He is also available at school on Monday and Wednesday at 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM in the weight room area. If a player gets hurt during competition and can not return to play because of that injury that athlete needs to follow-up with Dino or Sports Med.
We always encourage players to seek the needed help as to recover as fast as possible in a healthy way. Often a tape job, specific exercises or extra padding can help a player prevent a worsening injury.
Bottom-line, players need to be responsible in seeking the needed help from Sports Med so we can stay as healthy and recover as quickly as possible.
