HIGH SCHOOL RULES REGARDING
MOUTHGUARDS, NECKGUARDS
Rule 3-4
ART.1 PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
· It is mandatory for all players to
wear a certified BNQ stamped throat
protector. This shall not be modified from its original manufactured state
and shall be worn in the manner the manufacturer intended it to be worn.
(The key
here is it must be stamped BNQ) It must be worn for all games, practices and
in the warm up prior to games.
All players
(including goalkeepers) must wear internal mouthpieces at all times including
pre game warm ups.
GOALKEEPERS
· Must wear protective full face mask
with helmet and chin strap. (note chin strap will be checked prior to start of
game.)
· Must wear flapper-style throat
protector.
· Must wear mouthguard
· Must wear wrap around throat
protector like the players unless it is built in to the chest protector. The
key is that is must be stamped BNQ.
