Wounded Warrior Jersey Sponsorship Letter
Lake Placid Blue Bombers
vs
Saranac Lake Red Storm
Lake Placid Blue Bomber Hockey and
Saranac Lake Red Storm Hockey are working together to make their games this
hockey season benefit the Wounded Warrior Project. All proceeds from the gate will go directly
to the Wounded Warrior Project. In
addition both schools will be selling t-shirts to commemorate these games and
$5.00 from each t-shirt sale will go to the Wounded Warrior Project.
Lastly, both teams will wear special
camouflage jerseys for the two games (1/4 and 2/7). These jerseys have been ordered with the
players’ names on the back and with the school being recognized on the
front. Each player from Blue Bomber and
Red Storm hockey need to find an appropriate sponsor to purchase the jersey for
that player. The cost of the jersey is
$65.00 with $20.00 from every jersey purchase going directly to the Wounded
Warrior Project. After the second game
the jersey will then be the property of each player.
By purchasing the jersey for a player
from either program your support will also be recognized in the game program
for both games.

Wounded Warrior Project Benefit Games
Blue Bombers,
Coach Ellsworth and I have been working together in conjunction with our schools and others to organize our benefit games between our club and the Red Storm. To better familiarize yourself with the Wounded Warrior Project, I have linked the following videos that are created by the program. Our games have been officially recognized by the project and these are some the promotional videos they recommend for groups raising funds for their project.

Emily Godin's Senior Project
Emily asked me to distribute this information to hockey community members:
Dear Parents of the LPHS Hockey Teams,
Hi, my name is Emily Godin and I am a senior at LPHS. I am
also a member of the Girls High School hockey team. In order for me to
graduate, I had to come up with a senior project. My project is a first ever
SKATE FOR CANCER. I chose to do this because a loss of my grandmother earlier
this year in May. I also chose skating because I play, and love hockey.
My event is taking place on January 1st, 2014
from 12pm-5pm. I am wondering if any of you would be willing to donate a baked
good to be sold at my event to raise money for the American Cancer Society. Any
assistance that you provide would be a great help to me for the completion of
my project. If you decide to make a baked good, the drop off would be January 1st,
at the Olympic Speed Skating warming shack at 11am or if needed I could pick it
up. It would be wonderful if you could email me your name and what you would
like to donate, so I could add you onto our thank you list. Thank you for your
time and consideration!
