We Need Wooden Hockey Sticks
Kevin Casler has graciously offered to build an Adirondack Hockey Stick Chair for a raffle we will be running to help fund our trip to Brewster. He needs 30 regular sticks and 9 goalie sticks to properly build the chair. If you have some extra sticks around your house please have your son bring it into school in next week. Drop the sticks off in my classroom and Kiefer and I will make sure they get to Kevin.

Raffle Basket Fundraiser
1. Patricia Damp - "Taste of the Adirondacks"
2. Allison & Tricia - "Wine & Cheese Basket"
3. Karen & Joanne - "Raffle Ticket Bonanza"
4. Judith Geesler - "Sports Movies and Candy"
5. Keith Clark - "Lake Placid Night Life"
Bob Murch is permitting our team to create 5-6 raffle baskets for one of the largest fall Can/Am tournaments. We will likely choose the weekend of November 20-22. We need 5 parents to step us as "leaders" to facilitate the creation of a basket with 4-5 parent(s) underneath him/her. Once we have 5-6 raffle baskets completed we will create a sign-up sheet to cover the sales. Butch and I feel with quality baskets we can raise around $1000+ for our team trip to Brewster.
Some ideas for basket themes:
1. "Touch of the Adirondacks"
2. "Taste of the Adirondacks"
3. "Hockey Parent Special"
4. "Lottery Tix Supreme"
5. Adirondack Hockey Stick Chair
6. "Sports Movies & Snacks"
7. "The Olympic Spirit"
Different ideas would certainly be welcome.
If you are interested in leading the charge on one of these baskets please email me. If you do not want to contribute please email me as well.

Bomber Pride Stickers Going on Sale
Bomber Pride Stickers will be going on sale this week. Each player will need to sell 20 stickers at $3.00 each. This fundraiser should raise around $1500. Desiring a 3-day trip to Section I, players have agreed to do the work of fundraising for that weekend. More fundraising will be announced in near future.
(Below "Bomber Pride" stickers on a vehicle, a window and computer - They peel two times so just the letters appear)

Car Wash & Bottle Drive Recap
Thanks to all parents and fans of Blue Bombers' Hockey who came out and supported the team at our fundraiser. Great job to the players for a well executed car wash.
We raised $675 on the day. We still have a lot to raise for our Section I weekend trip but are well on our way.
